Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Some set up and tear down of booth as needed

Schedule/Hours:

• Training: with Sales Manager
• Hours are casual part time weekends; candidates must have open availability on Saturday and Sundays. The number of weekends per month is usually 3. (This may vary)

Qualifications:

• Food Safe Level 1 Certificate Required
• Clean, healthy and professional presentation
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Previous sales experience an asset
• Knowledge of health, nutrition and local food movement is an asset

The ideal candidate is passionate about healthy living and interested in representing Tree Island Yogurt in the community. The Account Manager role is focused on caring and cultivating existing business and partnering with our retail customers for continued success.

Requirements:

1. Sales Experience – you are a farmer not a hunter, this means you put the time into getting to know your different customers, their systems and how to win together. Success is grown through relationships and consistency!

2. Computer Literacy – you are comfortable with spreadsheets, databases and digital media. You can learn and understand new programs quickly and jump into communications with a variety of customers and colleagues using MS365, Google, etc. There are a lot of forms and spreadsheets, so you must be comfortable with paperwork and people.

3. Grocery/Retail Experience – you understand retail, the experience of floor staff, grocery merchandising and promotional planning. 3 years experience preferred.

4. Mature, Professional & Collaborative – you are interested in a Full-Time job where you grow with the company and are committed to long-term work where you build meaningful relationships with retailers, colleagues, contractors and community.

5. Ability to Travel – you are based in the Comox Valley but are willing and able to travel on Vancouver Island and to Vancouver as required – up to 1-trip per month as necessary.

This role reports to the General Manager. We are looking for a mature and responsible candidate. It is an opportunity to work with a successful business in a healthy collaborative team committed to success.

Schedule – Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.

Salary – $65,000 annual, plus benefits
